Ingredients

3 sheets rice paper (you can use more/less)

1 egg

green onions

1 slice of cheese(I used American)

chopped protein

For the sauces

Chinsu

kewpie sauce

sriracha sauce

fried shallots (optional!)

thinly shredded lettuce

Directions

Step 1

*this cooks relatively quickly on the pan so prepare your ingredients beforehand!* Slice protein (I used hot dog but spam is also super popular!) and veggies

For The CRISPIEST CRUST

Step 1

layer one dry sheet of rice paper, then one completely wet, and top with one try. You need to work fast bc the wet one softens quickly!

3 sheets rice paper (you can use more/less)

Step 2

Place immediately on a dry, non oiled pan on medium heat

Step 3

Crack an egg (the egg is the binder) and lightly stir to coat the entire front of the rice paper “crust”

Add your scallions and protein, and then cheese

Swirl on your sauces and add the shallots + lettuce

sriracha sauce

fried shallots (optional!)

thinly shredded lettuce

Step 6

Let it slowly crisp up, and it will be done once the bottom is completely opaque and white. I like to let mine turn a bit more brown to get it extra crispy.

Step 7

Top with veggies and enjoy!
