1 tsp holiday spice blend (see sub recipe)
½ c sugar
¾ c cold butter, cut into small chunks

⅔ c brown sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ c dark corn syrup

Holiday spice blend

1 tbsp ground allspice
1 tbsp ground cloves
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cardamom
2 tsp ground coriander
Directions
Pecan pie bars
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
Crust: Add flour, spice blend, sugar, and butter to a food processor and pulse until dough starts to form and ball up. Dump into a greased and parchment paper lined 9x13 pan. Press the dough down evenly. Bake for 18 minutes. Remove from oven and pour the filling on while the crust is still hot.
1 ¾ c flour
½ c sugar
¾ c cold butter, cut into small chunks
1 tsp holiday spice blend (see sub recipe)
Step 3
Filling: Add brown sugar and a heaping 1/3 cup of flour to a large bowl and and whisk until blended. Add in eggs, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and pecans (if the filling sits out while crust is cooking, be sure to mix again before it is poured over crust). Pour over hot crust.
⅓ c flour
⅔ c brown sugar
4 eggs
1 ½ c dark corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
2 c pecans, chopped
Step 4
Bake pecan pie bars for 30 minutes or until the filling is set. Its okay if the center is wobbly - just not runny.
Step 5
Let the pecan pie bars cool then place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
Step 6
Remove the pecan pie bars from the pan and cut into small squares. Run your knife under hot water to make cutting easier. Enjoy!
