Ingredients

Mac & cheese

Fusilli bucati lunghi pasta (any shape will do)

3 cloves garlic (chopped)

1 tsp flour

½ cup milk

8 oz extra sharp cheddar (shredded)

oz 8 oz havarti (shredded)

⅛ tsp mustard

¼ tsp paprika

⅛ tsp lemon juice

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

½ tsp truffle salt

1 tbs parsley (chopped)

tbs parmesean

4 quarts water

1 ½ tbs salt

3 tbs butter

¼ cup onion (chopped)

Cheesy Sauce

3 tbs butter

¼ cup onion

3 cloves garlic

½ cup milk

8 oz sharp cheddar (shredded)

8 oz havarti (shredded)

⅛ tsp mustard

¼ tsp paprika

⅛ tsp lemon juice

1 tsp flour

to taste salt + pepper

Breadcrumbs

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

olive oil

½ tsp truffle salt

½ tsp ground pepper

parmesan

Directions

Mac & cheese

Step 1

Boil water for pasta.

4 quarts water

Step 2

Once boiling, salt your water and add pasta. Cook until al dente.

Fusilli bucati lunghi pasta (any shape will do)

1 ½ tbs salt

Step 3

While your pasta cooks, make your sauce and toast breadcrumbs.

Step 4

Once the sauce and breadcrumbs are finished, mix the pasta in the sauce and top with breadcrumbs. Enjoy!

Cheesy Sauce

Step 1

Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat.

3 tbs butter

Step 2

Mince your garlic.

3 cloves garlic

Step 3

To mince garlic, carefully smash each clove with the flat end of a knife and remove shell.

Step 4

Remove the ends of the cloves and thinly slice cross-wise.

Step 5

Keeping the tip of the knife against the cutting board, rock your knife across the cloves repeatedly until well minced.

Step 6

Add minced garlic and your onion (chopped) to the pan.

Once translucent, add flour and stir for 1-2 mins.

1 tsp flour

Step 8

Add milk, stirring continuously until sauce thickens slightly.

½ cup milk

Step 9

Slowly add in your cheeses.

8 oz sharp cheddar (shredded)

8 oz havarti (shredded)

Step 10

Add mustard, paprika, lemon juice, salt + pepper (to taste) and some pasta water.

⅛ tsp mustard

¼ tsp paprika

⅛ tsp lemon juice

to taste salt + pepper

Breadcrumbs

Step 1

Heat pan on medium heat and add panko breadcrumb and lightly drizzle with olive oil.

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

Step 2

Stir in truffle salt and pepper. Stir until breadcrumbs brown.

½ tsp truffle salt

½ tsp ground pepper

Step 3

Take off heat, top with parsley and parmesan.
