Ingredients

1 lb penne pasta

2 tablespoons butter

2 cups of your favorite Vodka Marinara sauce

1 cup half and half

½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

½ sweet yellow onion, diced

1 tsp chopped garlic

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp red chili flakes

1 cup shredded "pizza" cheese

Directions

Step 1

Boil your penne noodles according to the package ingredients for "al dente" preparation. Usually just cook it 1-2 minutes less than normal.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and spray a ceramic baking dish with cooking spray or oil/butter

Step 3

In a medium sized pan over medium heat melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Toss in the onion and garlic and cook until translucent and fragrant. Lower the heat. Add the vodka marinara sauce, the half and half, the parmesan cheeses, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powders. Combine and cook on low for about 10 minutes.

Step 4

Toss in the pasta noodles to combine with the sauce then place it all into the prepared baking dish.

Step 5

Top the pasta with the shredded pizza cheese and bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese on top is melted and bubbling.
