Taco Lettuce Wraps (vegan)

Ingredients

1 lb beefless crumbles

1 cup Kinder BBQ sauce I love the Hot Honey

1 head of Butter Lettuce

1 - 2 avocados, sliced up

Fresh Basil

Fresh Cilantro

Scallions, sliced

Chipotle Crema (see ingredients below)

Grape Tomatoes

½ cup mayo

3 tablespoons sour cream

¼ cup chipotle hot sauce

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

½ juice of lime

Directions

Step 1

Wash the butter lettuce thoroughly and pull apart the leaves cutting the bottom as you go or you can likely just rip the leaves off making 16 or so cups

Step 2

Prepare the meat by browning it in a pan on the stove with a little olive oil or butter and seasoning it with a little salt and pepper, chopped garlic and onion powder.

Step 3

Add the bbq sauce to the meatless crumbles and stir to combine.

Step 4

Slice the avocados, tomatoes and prepare the chipotle crema.

Step 5

To make the wraps simply lay them all out on a large platter and fill each one with a couple tablespoons of the meat mixture, 2 slices of avocado, a tomato, the basil, cilantro and scallions and a nice drizzle of the chipotle crema.
