Directions

Step 1

Prepare the platter by cutting a piece (or two) of parchment paper and use it to line your tray.

Step 2

Prep your ingredients by cutting your cheeses, washing and drying your produce, warm your bread and slice it, cut your fruits and veggies, spread your dips into dishes and fill the other bowls with olives and pickles.

Step 3

Place all the cut cheeses and dishes on the board. Arrange the crackers and bread on the board.

Step 4

Next add your salamis. Fold your slices into quarters and arrange them together into rivers or pools. Or make salami roses as a special touch for Mom.

Step 5

Add your fruit and veggies to the board. I like to start with my baby carrots then pile on grapes then fill in with smaller and smaller groups of ingredients.

Step 6

Next is the yummy goodness - this is your dried goods like the nuts, dried fruits and chocolate. Make piles of nuts then add the dried stuff in small batches on top to keep the dry areas dry and away from wetter ingredients.

Step 7

Lastly, garnish your beautiful creation! I like to use pretty non-toxic flowers and herbs.
