Ingredients
3 - 4 large green tomatoes
2 eggs
½ cup milk
I Tbsp hot sauce
I Cup all purpose flour
½ cup cornmeal
½ cup bread crumbs
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
Directions
Step 1
1. Slice tomatoes 1/4 inch thick.
Step 2
2. In a medium-size bowl, whisk eggs, milk & hot sauce together.
Step 3
3. In a separate bowl, add flour and seasonings (salt, pepper, Cajun seasoning).

4. In another bowl, combine cornmeal and bread crumbs.

5. Pat tomatoes dry with paper towels.
Step 6
7. Season tomatoes on both sides with salt and pepper.

8. Coat tomatoes in seasoned flour.

9. Dip tomatoes into egg mixture.
Step 9
10. Dredge in cornmeal and breadcrumb mixture to completely coat.

11. In a large skillet, add 1/2 inch of vegetable oil and heat over medium heat.

12. Fry tomatoes until golden brown. 3-5 minutes on each side.

14. Transfer the fried tomatoes to a wired rack to strain and cool.
