Ingredients
2 - 3 Ibs boneless skinless chicken thighs
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp AP seasoning
2 tbsp butter
Sauce*
½ cup low sodium soy sauce
½ cup hoisin sauce
¼ cup bourbon or apple juice
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tsp ginger powder
¼ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbs minced garlic
Directions
Step 1
1. Clean & Season your chicken thighs with soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, & AP seasoning
Step 2
2. In a skillet, add 2-3 tablespoons olive oil. Sir chicken thighs for about 4-5 minutes on each side. Or until browned & cooked through.
Step 3
3. Remove from heat & place on cutting board. Allow chicken to rest for a few minutes & then chop into pieces .
Step 4
4. In a large pan add butter, garlic, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, ground ginger and bourbon or apple juice. Stir to combine. Allow sauce to simmer for 2-3minutes to thicken!
Step 5
5. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the chicken is heated through and the sauce is thick and glossy.
Step 6
6. Serve the Bourbon Chicken over steamed rice and garnish with sliced green onions & Enjoy!
