Ingredients

2 lbs of snow crab

2 lbs of shrimp (large, jumbo, or tiger)

8 - 12 package frozen corn ears

1 bag of small red potatoes

14 oz Sausage Ropes (any kind you would like, I used Richard’s Sausage)

1 pack of Zatarain’s Crawfish, Shrimp, Crab Boil in a bag

6 tbsp of Zatarain’s Concentrated Shrimp and Crab Boil

½ cup Old Bay Seasoning, plus 3 tbsp for sauce

¼ cup minced garlic

4 tbsp garlic powder, salt, Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning, ground paprika, parsley flakes, lemon pepper seasoning, and Tony Chachere’s origins Creole Seasoning EACH

1 cup lemon juice (fresh or bottled)

2 tbsp cayenne pepper (or more depending on your heat level)

1 tbsp of brown sugar

4 sticks of unsalted butter, plus 4 tbsp of butter

Water (no specific measurement but just follow the recipe)

Directions

Step 1

The first step is to get the water in the pot boiling. Fill the pot a little less than 1/2 full with water. (This is because as you add food to the pot, the water will rush high and you DONT want your pot over boiling and spilling everywhere.) Once you have done that, put the pot on the stove on high heat to start the water boiling with 4 tbsp of salt and one cup of lemon juice.

Step 2

Once it’s gets to a rolling boil, you are going to add the 1 pack of Zatarain’s Crawfish, Shrimp, Crab Boil in a bag and 4 tbsp of Zatarain’s Concentrated Shrimp and Crab Boil. Let it boil for about 10 minutes.

Step 3

Then proceed to add 3/4 cup of minced garlic, 2 tbsp each of garlic powder, Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning, ground paprika, lemon pepper seasoning, and Tony Chachere’s origins Creole Seasoning, along with 1/2 a cup of Old Bay Seasoning. Let that boil for about 5 minutes.

Step 4

Then add your whole red potatoes (or halves) and corn. This is because the corn and potatoes take longer to cook than the actual seafood. You’re going to let that boil for about 15 minutes then you will add your sausage, which you can have cut up in thin slices or thick chunks.

Step 5

After this PLEASE REMOVE THE Boil in a Bag. You don’t want it to explode. If you can tell that you need to take it out before hand please do so. Next you’re going to add one stick of butter. Let it boil for about 6-8 more minutes and then begin to add your seafood.

Step 6

I added the crab legs first, let it boil for 10 minutes more. Then add your shrimp and cover the pot for 4-5 minutes.

Step 7

In your aluminum pan(s) you need to sprinkle old bay seasoning and slap ya mama seasoning plus the 4 tbsp on butter (this’ll make a nice spicy Cajun butter sauce in the bottom of the pan.

Step 8

For the Boiling Crab Seafood Boil Sauce:

Step 9

In a small or medium saucepan, you will add 3 sticks of butter on medium heat. Once the butter is fully melted add the other 3/4 cup of minced garlic. Let that cooked uncovered for 3 minutes.

Step 10

Next you add 2 tbsp each of garlic powder, Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning, ground paprika, parsley flakes, lemon pepper seasoning, and Tony Chachere’s origins Creole Seasoning, 1 tbsp of cayenne pepper (or more; whatever you like or tolerate), 3 tbsp of old bay seasoning, and one tbsp of brown sugar (this will balance out all the heat and saltiness in the seasonings, it will not taste sweet at all).

Step 11

Lastly, add the 4 tsp of lemon juice, cover the saucepan and let it boil for 3-5 minutes. Once it’s completed, pour over seafood boil. If you have a lot, separate into two or more pans. You may need gloves to thoroughly mix the sauce all over the food.
