Ingredients
2 pounds chicken wings
½ cup vinegar
¼ cup minced garlic
¼ cup baking powder
3 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder,
1 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp Tony Chachere’s
½ tsp salt
4 tbsp butter
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup honey
Olive oil
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Step 2
Add the wings to a large bowl and rinse the chicken wings with the vinegar and fill to the top with water. Drain and pat dry.
Step 3
Add the baking powder, 2 Tbsp of the lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Tony Chachere's Cajun seasoning, and salt. Drizzle and coat the wings in olive oil. Mix well then grab a large baking sheet pan with a wire rack. Spray the pan with olive oil spray or any nonstick spray you have.
Step 4
Next, place the chicken wings skin side down on the pan evenly spread out.
Step 5
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes on each side or desired crispness.
Step 6
While the wings are cooking, melt the butter on medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Then add the rest of lemon pepper seasoning, lemon juice and honey.
Step 7
Cook the sauce until it becomes thick. Turn off the heat and set to the side.
Step 8
Take out the wings. Place them in a bowl and pour the sauce over the wings. Dust with a little bit more lemon pepper, garnish with parsley and enjoy!
