Ingredients
3 - 4 pound boneless half ham, uncured and precooked
1 cup pineapple juice
⅓ cup honey
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
Directions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Step 2
Add the ham in a baking dish. Add 1/2 of the pineapple juice in a small bowl, along with the honey. Whisk until combined well. Add the sugars and seasoning to a bowl and mix well, set to the side. Add the pineapple honey mixture in between the slices and crevices of the ham, all over the ham. Place the ham in the oven for 45 minutes. This ham is already cooked, we are just reheating it.
Step 3
Once done, take ham out. Add the juices from ham to a saucepan along with the rest of the pineapple honey mix, and half of the sugar mix. Stir well and allow to simmer on low-medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until the consistency has thickened.
Step 4
Take the other half of the sugar mix and spread on top on the ham. Place the ham in the oven on broil for 2-4 minutes or until it’s a nice crust and char on top. Take the ham out the oven and once the sauce is complete, drizzle the sauce all over that ham. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and serve.
