Ingredients

250 gram shrimp

8 slices white bread

1 clove garlic

1 tbsp ginger

1 red chili pepper

1 tsp sesame oil

3 scallions

1 egg whites

2 tbsp corn starch

¾ tsp salt

¾ tsp white pepper

300 mL vegetable oil

Directions

Step 1

Deshell and devein the shrimp then use a sharp knife to grind them leaving little chunks here and there ( you can do this in the food processor but the texture is very smooth )

250 gram shrimp

Step 2

Add Crushed garlic Grated ginger 3 sliced scallions ( The light parts ) and 1 red sliced chilli with seeds in if you like it spicy

Add salt white pepper toasted sesame oil egg white and cornstarch and mix until combined

¾ tsp white pepper

2 tbsp corn starch

Step 4

Slice the corners off of 8-10 slices of white bread then quarter each slice

Step 5

Spread the shrimp mixture on half of the slices then top with the remaining slices

Step 6

Heat the oil to about 350 f then drop the shrimp bread in the oil and fry until golden turning once or twice to make sure they are cooked evenly
