Ingredients
1 - 2 tbs avocado oil
½ red onion, diced
½ red bell pepper, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
3 serrano peppers, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh basil leaves
1 - 2 pounds of plant based ground meat
¼ cup Veggie stock
Salt
Black pepper
Cooked brown jasmine rice
Sesame seeds
Sliced green onions
Sauce:
1 tbs lite soy sauce
2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbs vegan oyster sauce
1 tbs vegan fish sauce
1 ½ tsp maple syrup
Directions
Step 1
Dice 1/2 red onion, dice 1/2 red bell pepper, mince 6 cloves of garlic, and thinly slice 3 serrano peppers.
Step 2
Make sauce by adding all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
Sauce:
1 tbs lite soy sauce
2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tbs vegan oyster sauce
1 tbs vegan fish sauce
1 ½ tsp maple syrup
Step 3
Add avocado oil to pan on medium heat. Add red onion, garlic, serrano peppers, red bell pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes seasoning to taste with salt and black pepper.
Step 4
Add in plant based ground meat. Mix thoroughly and cook for 2/3 minutes. Add sauce, Veggie stock, mix and cook until sauce starts to thicken. Add in basil leaves and cook until the are tender.
Step 5
Serve with brown jasmine rice. Top with sesame seeds, sliced green onions and enjoy!
