Italian Cheese Bread (Vegan)

Ingredients

1 loaf of Ciabatta or French bread

4 Roma tomatoes, diced

1 stick vegan butter

2 tbs Fresh parsley, chopped

½ Fresh Basil, chopped

Vegan mozzarella cheese

3 - 4 tbs minced garlic

1 tsp Oregano

½ Crushed Red Pepper

½ tsp Thyme

Pink Himalayan salt

Black pepper

Directions

Step 1

Dice the roma tomatoes. Roughly Chop 1/2 cup basil.

Step 2

Add avocado oil to cast iron on medium heat. Pour in tomatoes. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 mins and cook on low heat for 10-12 mins. Season with salt, black pepper, Oregano, thyme, chopped basil, and minced garlic. Transfer to blender, blender until smooth and transfer to a small bowl for you to dip.

Step 3

Slice your bread into 2 halfs.half's. To a bowl add softened butter, minced garlic, fresh parsley, a pinch of salt and mix thoroughly. Spread the butter mixture on each half of the bread. Grate the vegan mozzarella and Sprinkle of both halves of the bread. Bake on 400F for 10-15 mins. Remove from oven a use pizza cutter to cut rectangular strips.

Step 4

Serve with homemade pizza sauce and enjoy!
