Ingredients

2 eggs

¼ cup half and half cream, or milk

½ tsp Dijon mustard

½ tsp thyme, chopped

pinch of salt & pepper

1 large croissant

50 grams Gruyere, sliced

2 slices prosciutto

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp hot sauce

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

In a mixing bowl beat together the eggs, cream, Dijon, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Step 3

Slice the croissant into 6 or 7 chunks. Dunk each piece into the egg mixture and lay them in a small greased baking dish.

Step 4

Arrange the Gruyere slices between the croissant pieces. Tear the prosciutto into bite size pieces and scatter them around the dish.

Step 5

Pour any excess egg mixture over the croissant and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and eggs have set.

Step 6

Combine the honey and hot sauce in a small bowl and brush it over the crispy croissant pieces. Serve immediately and enjoy!
