Ingredients
250 g shell pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
4 50g sausage meat (about 4 links)
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup mozzarella, shredded
Salt and pepper, to taste
Parsley for serving
Directions
Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat olive oil on medium and add the sausage meat. Break the meat up with your spoon and heat until cooked through. Remove from pan, reserving 2 tbsp of fat.
Step 3
Add garlic and tomato paste to the same pan. Cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes.
Step 4
Add cream and stir occasionally until thickened.
Step 5
Add cooked pasta and sausage and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
Step 6
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the pasta and stir gently until melted. Add salt & pepper if needed.
Step 7
Serve immediately with parsley, if using. Enjoy!
