Ingredients

Chicken

2 lb chicken tenderloins

4 ½ cups flour

Canola oil

1 cup buttermilk

¼ cup pickle juice

1 tbsp all purpose seasoning

2 tsp black pepper

2 tsp garlic and herb seasoning

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp cayenne pepper

Honey Hot Sauce

½ cup franks red hot

⅓ cup honey

2 - 3 tbsp garlic herb butter

Directions

Chicken

Step 1

To a bowl combine the listed ingredients mix until well combined then refrigerate for 30 minutes up to 48 hours.

1 cup buttermilk

¼ cup pickle juice

1 tbsp all purpose seasoning

2 tsp black pepper

tsp garlic and herb seasoning

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp onion powder

2 tsp cayenne pepper

Step 2

In a flat bowl or pan, combine flour and spices, mix well.

2 tsp cayenne pepper

Step 3

Remove tenders from the refrigerator and bring to room temperature.

Step 4

Remove tenders from the buttermilk and one by one add to the flour mixture and coat until evenly coated. Add to a lined baking sheet and let tenders rest for 10-15 minutes.

Step 5

Heat oil in a large pot and bring up to 375 degrees, Fry tenders in batches of 6-8.

Step 6

Cook for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Pour Honey sauce over, toss and serve.

Honey Hot Sauce

Step 1

To a small pot, add hot sauce and bring to medium heat. Then add in butter, hot sauce and mix well. Once warmed and well combined remove from heat and pour sauce over chicken.
