Ingredients
1 box (16 oz.) noodles of choice (I used cavatappi)
3 tbsp flour
4 tbsp butter
2 ½ cups whole milk
½ cup heavy cream
1 ½ tsp garlic powder
1 ½ tsp onion powder
1 ½ tsp paprika
½ tsp cayenne powder
½ tsp chili powder
2 tsp all purpose seasoning
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup cheddar cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
Directions
Step 1
Cook noodles, drain and set aside.
Step 2
Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Once melted add in flour. Whisk until a thick paste forms. Pour in milk and heavy cream and whisk until of uniform consistency.
Step 3
Pour in seasonings and mix until combined. Preheat oven to 350° F
Step 4
Add in mustard and Worcestershire sauce, stir, then add 1/2 cup of cheddar and mozzarella cheese and mix until thick and creamy. Keep stirring until it thickens up a bit.
Step 5
Once thickened add in your noodles and fold until they’re evenly coated.
Step 6
Grab a 9x13 baking dish and coat with nonstick spray. Add in half your Mac mixture. Top with half of remaining cheeses and 1/2 tbsp of Italian seasoning. Add remaining Mac mixture. Top with remaining cheese and Italian seasoning.
Step 7
Place into oven for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool for ten. Serve and enjoy!
