Ingredients

Doughnuts

2 cups all purpose flour

⅓ cup sugar

¼ teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ cup butter, melted

1 ½ tsp vanilla

½ cup sourdough discard OR 1/2 packer of yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup water

¾ cups water or milk

1 egg

Miscellaneous

sprinkle

Graham crackers

Bacon

Marshmallow fluff

Glaze

¾ cup powdered sugar

½ tsp vanilla

1 tbsp heavy cream

Chocolate

1 bar bakers chocolate

2 tsp coconut oil

Maple Glaze

2 tbsp maple syrup

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tbsp cream

pinch of salt

Directions

Doughnuts

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°

Step 2

Mix together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder

Step 3

In a separate bowl mix together melted butter, egg, sourdough starter (or yeast and water), and water

Step 4

Pour wet ingredients into dry & stir just until combined

Step 5

Scrape batter into a zip-loc baggie or piping bag and begin squeezing batter into your doughnut molds.

Step 6

Bake for roughly 15 minutes, just until doughnuts begin to turn golden brown.

Step 7

Prepare doughnuts with desired toppings & ENJOY!
