Ingredients

¾ cups unsalted butter, melted and cooled a bit

1 cup light brown sugar

½ cup white granulated sugar

2 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 ¼ cups all purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

6 - 7 Hershey’s bars, chopped or 2 XL Hershey’s bars (chopped) save some chocolate to place on top of cookies before baking

Baking sheet

Directions

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

2. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

3. Pour butter, brown sugar, and white sugar into a bowl. Cream together for 1-3 minutes.

Step 4

4. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix.

Step 5

5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until fully incorporated together.

Step 6

6. Take your chocolate bars and chop them up leaving some chocolate to place on top of cookies before baking.

Step 7

7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 8

8. Scoop and roll cookie dough into balls and place onto baking sheet.

Step 9

9. Place extra chocolate on top of cookies.

Step 10

10. Place in oven on 350F for 12-13 minutes

11. Once done, let cool for 5-7 minutes.
