Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 ½ cups white granulated sugar

1 cup milk, at room temperature

1 large egg, at room temperature

⅓ cup vegetable oil

2 tbsp cinnamon

½ cup of white granulated sugar

4 tbsp softened butter

1 ½ cups of powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 ½ tbsp milk (add more milk for consistency you desire)

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

Step 2

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Step 3

Mix your egg milk, sugar, and oil.

Step 4

Combined your wet and dry ingredients until fully combined.

Step 5

In another bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar together for swirl.

Step 6

Line your loaf pan with parchment paper.

Step 7

Place in this order- batter, cinnamon sugar, batter, cinnamon sugar.

Step 8

Bake at 350F for 55 minutes until a knife comes out clean.

Step 9

While that is in the oven, mix your powdered sugar, butter, vanilla extract and milk together to making icing.

Step 10

Once loaf is done, take out of oven and let cool for 30 minutes to and hour.

Step 11

Once cooled, pour icing on top and dive in!
