Ingredients

½ cup milk, room temperature

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup light brown sugar

¾ cups butter + 4oz of chopped pecans, melt in a saucepan

2 eggs at room temperature

½ tbsp cinnamon

2 cups all purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

¼ cup white granulated sugar

1 to 1/2 stick of butter

1 tbsp honey

1 - 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375F.
Step 2
2. Mix your flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar together and set aside.
Step 3
3. Chop pecans.
Step 4
4. Place butter in a saucepan on medium heat and let melt.
Step 5
5. Once melted add pecans and let simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Step 6
6. Take off heat and place in a bowl to cool in fridge for 10 minutes.

7. Once butter is cooled, add your milk, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to a bowl and mix together.

8. Add your butter pecan mixture and whisk it in.

9. Now combine your wet and dry ingredients. Fold until fully incorporated. Be sure not to over mix muffin batter.

10. Line a cupcake or muffin pan with cupcake liners or spread butter in each hole.

11. Scoop about 1 1/2 tbsp of batter into each compartment.

12. Place in oven on 375F for 18-20 until a knife comes out clean.

13. Once out of oven let cool for about 10 minutes.

14. Melt butter, honey, and cinnamon in microwave together.

15. Spread on top of muffins and enjoy 🫶🏽
