Dak Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Chicken)

Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken drumsticks

½ large onion, sliced thinly

3 ½ tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp mirin

2 tbsp minced garlic

2 tsp grated ginger

1 tbsp sesame oil

pinch black pepper

½ tsp sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Debone your chicken drumsticks and reserve the chicken bones for different recipe.

1 lb boneless chicken drumsticks

Step 2

Add the chicken to a large bowl.

Step 3

For the Marinade:

Step 1

Add the marinade ingredients to the bowl of chicken and mix to combine.

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp grated ginger

1 tbsp sesame oil

pinch black pepper

Step 2

Marinate for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator, or until you lose patience.

Step 3

Preheat a skillet over medium high heat.

Step 4

Add the chicken pieces with half of the liquid marinade.

Step 5

Cook until cooked through and slightly caramelized, and add more marinade if the chicken gets dry.
