Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats, separated)

¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 Zest from lime

3 Juice of limes

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon salt (add more to taste)

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 pck ranch or spicy ranch seasoning

1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped (optional for extra heat)

Optional Garnish:

Extra chopped fresh cilantro

Directions

Step 1

1. In a large bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, minced garlic, olive oil, lime zest, lime juice, cumin, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped jalapeño (if using).

Step 2

2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl, ensuring each piece is well-coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight for more intense flavor.

3. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or air fryer to 400F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer.

Step 4

- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy. You can also finish them under the broiler for a few minutes to achieve extra crispiness.

Step 5

For air fryer fry for 13 mins , then flip and cooking for additional 10-12 mins.

Step 6

5. Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately squeeze on lime juice and coat with ranch seasoning.

6. Transfer the wings to a serving platter. Garnish with extra chopped fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the wings.
