Ingredients
2 lbs chicken thigh and drumstick mix
2 cups Flour
1 Carton of Buttermilk full fat
⅔ tsp Salt
½ tsp Ground Tyme
½ tsp Ground Basil
⅓ tsp Oregano
1 tsp Celery Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Dried Mustard
1 tsp Dried Ginger
4 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Garlic Salt
3 tsp White Pepper
Directions
Step 1
Start by combining 2 cups of flour with all the measurements of the seasonings listed. Whisk Well to combine.
Step 2
Marinate 2 pounds of drumstick and chicken thigh mix in full fat buttermilk. Leave for at least one hour or overnight.
Step 3
Once the chicken is done marinating, add the chicken pieces to the seasoned flour. Press the chicken into the flower to make sure they have a good coating.
Step 4
we need a high smoke point oil, I used avocado oil spray, but whichever neutral oil you’d like to use
Step 5
Preheat your air fryer to 390°
Step 6
Add in your chicken make sure they’re not crowded. Cook them in batches if needed.
Step 7
Air fry on one side for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes flip the chicken and air fry for another 10 minutes.
Step 8
Check internal temperature with thermometer it should be minimum 165°
Step 9
