Ingredients

1 lb 85/15 ground beef

1 onion

3 garlic cloves

¼ red bell pepper

Big handful of cilantro

2 tomatoes

Salt

Pepper

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Chili powder

Tomato paste

Tomato Bouillon

Directions

Step 1

Start by browning your 1 pound of ground beef on medium heat

Step 2

When it starts to brown season add 1 teaspoon of the following: salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and chili powder.

Step 3

Dice one quarter of an onion, 1/4 of a red bell pepper, two garlic cloves, 1 jalapeño and 1 big tbsp of tomato paste.

Step 4

Let’s sauté on medium heat for about 5 to 10 minutes until the vegetables start to soften

Step 5

For our tomato sauce, we are blending two Roma tomatoes, quarter of an onion, one garlic clove, 1 teaspoon of tomato bouillon and 1 cup of water and blend well into a smooth sauce.

Step 6

Add the tomato sauce into the ground beef and 1 big handful of chopped cilantro.

Step 7

Cover and let simmer on medium low for about 20 minutes so all the flavors can combine.

Step 8

Serve and Enjoy!
