I’ve been working on my pancake recipe for years, and I think I nailed it. The key to the perfect browning on your pancakes is to use the bare minimum amount of butter or cooking spray. Use a nonstick pan on medium heat or a griddle would work too! Good luck, the recipe is down below!

Ingredients

2 cup AP Flour

¼ cup of Sugar

¼ tsp of Baking Soda

1 tbsp of Baking Powder

1 tsp of Salt

1 ½ cup of Buttermilk

1 Egg

1 Egg Yolk

2 tbsp of Vegetable oil

Butter

Tools

Big bowl

Rubber Spatula

whisk

Directions

Step 1

First you're going to want to put 2 cups of AP Flour, 1/4th cup of Sugar, 1/4th tsp of baking soda, 1 tbsp of Baking Powder, and 1 tsp of Salt into a big bowl. Then mix it all up!

Step 2

Once you've got all of that mixed up, you're going to add all of the wet ingredients. Add 1 1/2 cups of Buttermilk, 1 Egg, 1 Egg Yolk, and 2 tbsp of Vegetable oil/Melted Butter. Once you've added all of that into the bowl with the dry ingredients, mix it all up!

Step 3

Once that's all mixed up, you can add a tbsp of cinnamon if you want or 1/2 tbsp of vanilla extract.

Step 4

Then get a nonstick pan on medium heat or get a griddle on medium heat. Once it's up to heat, spray a little bit of cooking spray if you're using that. If you're using butter, get a tiny knob of butter in the pan, then get a paper towel, and smear the butter it all over the pan.

Step 5

Once you've done that put enough pancake mix to your liking. When they start bubbling at the top, check the bottom to see if it's ready to be flipped. Flip it if it's ready. Let it cook for a additional 2-4 min then plate!

Step 6

Enjoy that shit!
