Pistachio Fudge Brownies with Brown Butter Pecan Ice Cream

These were so fucking good. Extremely fudgy, chocolatey, and nutty. The Pistachios added a great flavor and texture. Definitely a step up from any other nut(pause). Try to mix in the sugar as much as possible if you want that signature fudge brownie skin on top of the brownie. If you don’t try to mix in all of the sugar then it won’t have that skin on top.

Ingredients

¾ cup of Coco Powder

1 cup of Butter

2 cup of Sugar

1 teaspoon of expresso

3 Room Temp Eggs

1 Vanilla Pod/1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract

1 tsp of Salt

Semi Sweet Chocolate

1 cup of AP Flour

1 About Cup of Pistachios

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.

Step 2

After you've preheated the oven, you're going to want to bloom your cacao powder. Melt your 1 cup of butter, then put that in a bowl with your 3/4 cups of cacao powder, and mix that up.

Step 3

Once that's mixed and bloomed. Add in your 2 cups of Sugar. Whisk that in until most of the Sugar is dissolved.

Step 4

Once that's done, add your 3 room temp eggs and whisk that in really well.

Step 5

Add in 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract/1 Vanilla Bean Pod, 1 tsp of Salt, and 1 Cup of Flour. Then mix that all, up really well with a rubber spatula.

Step 6

Get a cutting board out and roughly cut up some Chocolate of your choice. Use two regular sized chocolate bars. Add that to the bowl along with 3/4 cups of Pistachios, roughly chopped. Then mix that all in.

Step 7

Once that's all mixed up, put the brownie mix in a parchment lined brownie pan. Then put the pan in the oven for 35-40 minutes.

Step 8

Pull them out of the oven when they're done, and enjoy!
