Ingredients

Bacon

1 Egg

Sharp Cheddar

Pesto

Everything Bagel

Salt

Pepper

Butter

Directions

Step 1

Start off by pre-heating your oven to 380 degrees. When that's up to heat, put 3 slices of bacon on a aluminum foil lined baking tray, and put that in the oven for 20-23 minutes.(don't worry about flipping it)

Step 2

Next, get a small bowl, and crack the one egg into it. Whisk that up until everything is nicely combined. Next cut slices of the extra sharp cheddar if it's a block. If it's in slices, you're ready to go.

Step 3

Put your bagel in the toaster, but don't toast it. You just want it to be there ready for when it's time to toast it.

Step 4

Relax until there's 5 minutes left on the bacon. Smoke, take a dab, drink a beer, or whatever.

Step 5

When there's 5 minutes left, get a small pan on the stove. Turn the burner to medium heat. When that's up to temp, put a small knob of butter in the pan, melt that, and make sure the whole pan is covered in butter.

Step 6

Add in your scrambled eggs. Soon as you add them, start to scramble them vigorously. When they start to scramble/start to solidify, bring everything together in a shape of a burger patty. Let that cook on that side for a extra minute or two then flip it over.

Step 7

After you've flipped it. Cut the heat off, and just let it rest. Toast your bagel. Remove the Bacon from the oven.

Step 8

When your bagel is toasted, add pesto to both sides of the bagel. Then add your egg, then a slide of cheddar, your bacon, and then close the sandwich.

Step 9

Enjoy that shit, because it's one of my favorites. Now you know why.
