A traditional dessert from Arequipa, perfect for cooling off this summer heat. If you don't want to make it in a bain-marie, use an ice cream machine or put it in the freezer for at least 3 hours, stirring it occasionally to make it even. What's your secret? 1 Lt de leche fresca

1 lata de condensada

100 gr de coco

1 naranja (cascara)

2 ramas de Canela

4 Clavos

Mucho hielo

1 Lt of fresh milk

1 can of condensed milk

100 gr of coconut

1 orange (peel)

2 Cinnamon sticks

4 cloves

Lots of ice

Step 1

En una olla agregar todos los ingredientes, a penas rompa hervor mantener a fuego minimo por 15 minutos, apagar y dejar infusionar toda la noche.

Step 2

Al dia siguiente agregar a la mezcla previamente colada a un bol que esta sobre hielo, mover sin parar en banio maria invertido, despues de unos minutos nos daremos cuenta que se habra formado el hielo.

Step 3

Puedes agregar la mezcla a una maquina de helado o puedes agregarlo al congelador por 3 horas.

Step 1

In a pot, add all the ingredients. As soon as it starts to boil, keep it on low heat for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and let it infuse overnight.

Step 2

The next day, add the previously strained mixture to a bowl that is on ice. Stir continuously in a double boiler, after a few minutes you will notice that the ice has formed.

Step 3

You can add the mixture to an ice cream machine or you can put it in the freezer for 3 hours.
