Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup of corn starch
1 tbsp Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Creole Seasoning, & Paprika
2 tbsp Lemon Pepper
1 ½ cup of Buttermilk
⅓ cup Pickle Juice
½ Juice of Lemon
1 tbsp cornstarch & 3 TBSP Water Combined
10 Chicken Tenderloins
Directions
Step 1
In a large bowl, add chicken tenderloins and season with 1/2 TBSP of the seasonings listed.
Step 2
Add your buttermilk and pickle juice into a bowl, add seasoned chicken tenders & set aside to marinate for at least one hour.
Step 3
Preheat vegetable oil on stove to 375. Combine flour and cornstarch into a bowl and season well with 1/2 TBSP of seasonings listed above.
Step 4
Take marinated chicken and dip into breading mixture of seasoned flour and cornstarch.
Step 5
Place on wire rack for 2-5 minutes before frying.
Step 6
Fry once oil has reached high temparture for 8-10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
Step 7
SAUCE: On a low heat melt 6 TBSP of Butter, add 1/2 TBSP Lemon Pepper, Juice of 1/2 Lemon, cornstarch slurry (1 TBSP Cornstarch, 3 TBSP Water). Mix until well combined.
