Ingredients

½ Green Bell Pepper

½ Diced White Onion

1 can of Kidney beans

1 can of Red Beans

1 tbsp of Garlic

¼ Jalapeno

1 ½ lb of Ground Beef

1 can of Diced Tomatoes

1 ½ cup of Chicken Broth

1 tbsp Tomato Paste

½ tbsp Cumin

½ tbsp Onion Powder

½ tbsp Garlic Powder

½ tbsp Chili Powder

½ tbsp Salt

½ tbsp Pepper

Directions

Step 1

Prep all of your ingredients prior to cooking, get seasonings out and accesible for the recipe.

Step 2

Brown your ground beef, once half-way done, add in your onino, bell pepper, and season lightly with seasonings listed.

Step 3

Drain beef and add into a pot, add in beans, tomato paste, diced tomato, and mix well.

Step 4

Add in beef broth, mix well, and add in jalapeno for additional spice.

Step 5

Season to your tasting and allow to simmer for an hour.

Step 6

Taste, and enjoy! Serve with rice or cornbread.
