Ingredients
For Chicken:
4 - 6 Chicken Tenderlions
salt. pepper, garlic and onion powder, and adobo seasoning
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 - 3 cup of Steamed Broccoli
For Teriyaki Sauce:
1 ½ Soy Sauce
¼ Water
⅓ cup Brown Sugar
¼ cup of cornstarch
1 teaspoon chili flakes
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tbsp Of Garlic
¼ cup of Water for Cornstarch slurry
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
Season chicken generously with the seasonings listed above.
Step 2
Heat a pan on medium-high heat with olive oil. Once heated add your seasoned chicken and allow to cook for 4 minutes on each side.
Step 3
While chicken is cooking add soy sauce, garlic, crushed pepper, water, and brown sugar into a bowl and mix well.
Step 4
Flip your chicken twice, allow additional cooking for 3-4 minutes, and remove from pan. Allow to rest while making your sauce before cutting into bite-sized pieces.
Step 5
In the same pan you made your chicken in, turn the heat down to a low heat.
Step 6
Add in your sauce mixture, and allow to cook for about 3-4 minutes on a low heat, turn up to a medium heat.
Step 7
Mix the 1/4 cup of water and 2 TBSP of cornstarch, be sure to mix well before adding to your cooking sauce.
Step 8
To thicken your sauce, add in the cornstarch slurry and continue to mix. Allow to cook down for 2 mintutes and you will have your very own homemade teriyaki sauce.
Step 9
Add in your cut up chicken and broccoli.
Step 10
Serve with rice and enjoy!
